Our cutter suction dredger delivers exceptional performance with high efficiency, strong reliability, and large-scale production capacity. It seamlessly integrates the entire dredging process-excavation, transport, discharge, and slurry treatment-into one continuous, automated workflow.
Equipped with a powerful mud pump and advanced suction system, the dredger uses a rotating cutter head to loosen sediment from the riverbed. The slurry is then drawn through the suction pipe and efficiently discharged ashore or into a barge via the discharge pipe.
Designed primarily as a non-self-propelled unit, it is ideally suited for reclamation projects and excels at handling soft substrates such as sandy soil and silt. •Cutter Head: The cutter head is one of the most core working parts of the cutter suction dredger. It plays the role of cutting and crushing the mud and rocks on the bottom of the water, mixing the mud and water, and then sucking out the mud-water mixture through the mud pump. It is discharged to the mud unloading site through the suction pipe, mud pump and mud discharge pipe inside the ship, thus completing the dredging operation.
