•Portal Frame: The gantry of a cutter suction dredger plays a critical role in supporting the dredging operation, including the lifting and lowering of the cutter head, providing stability during excavation, suspending and moving the slurry piping, withstanding the forces generated by the cutter and water flow, and serving as a platform for operators to maintain and handle the equipment.
•Crane: A slewing crane fixed on the deck for loading and unloading cargo. It has a turntable and a pitching boom, and can flexibly rotate and luff. Its boom, lifting mechanism, luffing mechanism, slewing mechanism and control room are all set on the turntable, with the fixed pillar as the axis, and can simultaneously operate the lifting, luffing and slewing mechanisms for loading and unloading operations.
