Microwave Disinfection Medical Waste Disposal Treatment for Hospital/Clinic Use
The process of microwave disinfection of medical waste:
| HRXS microwave disinfection equipment for medical waste,also known as ZT-MWT series microwave sterilization and disinfection equipment,It is a cooperative disinfection equipment using microwave irradiation and saturated steam,the basic principle is to use the steam heat conduction, microwave thermal effect and microwave biological action to kill sterilization body, especially the biological sterilization effect of microwave. The point distribution of microwaves on the cross section of bacterial membrane affects the electron and ion density around the membrane, thus changing the permeability of the membrane and killing bacteria. From a biochemical point of view, the normal growth and reproduction of bacterial nucleic acid (RNA) and deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) are coiled macromolecules tightly connected by a number of hydrogen bonds, microwave can lead to hydrogen bond relaxation, fracture and reorganization, thereby inducing genetic or chromosome aberration, fracture. Microwave sterilization is the use of electromagnetic field effect and biological effect to kill microorganisms. |
Process steps:
(1) Feed
The medical waste collected and sent to the crushing device by the feed lifting device. As the door of the crushing device needs to be opened during the feeding process, in order to prevent the infectious substances from escaping after the medical waste is crushed, the feeding lifting device is equipped with self-locking isolation doors. When the self-locking isolation door is not closed, the door of the crushing device cannot be opened.
(2) Broken
The medical waste can be broken into pieces of about 1 CM by using low-speed shearing crushing machine, so as to achieve shape destruction, volume reduction and guarantee the effect of subsequent treatment. After crushing treatment, the waste can be reduced by about 80%.
(3) Material transportation
The screw conveyor can transport the waste fragments in the storage tank to the disinfection and sterilization room.
(4) Disinfection and sterilization cabin
The disinfection and sterilization room adopts stainless steel pressure vessel , internal mixer and feeding valve on the top. At Feeding, the feeding valve is closed, then the steam is started, and the microwave device and agitator are started at the same time. Because of the function of microwave, the steam in the disinfection room can be saturated without pre vacuumizing, so as to ensure the treatment effect. This is also the advantage of the equipment over the simple steam disinfection equipment. Under the joint action of steam and microwave, the temperature of the sterilization room rises rapidly. When the pressure is more than 0.2bar and the temperature is more than 135 ºC, it enters the sterilization stage and the timer starts to count. After that, the temperature continued to rise to 140 ºC, the pressure increased to 0.33mpa, and maintained at this temperature and pressure for 3-5 minutes.
(5) Discharge
Spiral conveyor is used to transport the medical waste after treatment to the outside of the equipment
(6) Tail gas purification
In order to prevent the infectious substances from escaping after the package of medical waste is damaged, the crushing device is operated under negative pressure. The extracted gas is purified by the tail gas filtration system

The process of microwave disinfection of medical waste:
1.Fill the collected medical waste into the sterilization chamber. Start equipment operation, break the medical waste into flocculent particles through a high-speed rotating blade in the sterilization chamber, inject high temperature water steam into the sterilization chamber during the crushing process, and at the same time, the microwave generator installed outside the sterilization chamber can output microwave irradiation of medical waste through the excitation chamber, and superposition the high temperature steam with the thermal effect and comprehensive effect of microwave. Rapid heating inside and outside medical waste to achieve the purpose of rapid sterilization of medical waste.
2.The exhaust gas produced in the sterilization process is induced air negative pressure system through the initial effect filtration + high efficiency filtration +UV photolysis process + activated carbon filtration, and the particulate matter, odor and volatile organic gas in the exhaust gas are effectively filtered and adsorbated, and finally discharged up to the standard.
