This device utilizes the synergistic sterilization of microwave irradiation and saturated steam. Its basic principle is to kill bacteria through the heat conduction of steam, the thermal effect of microwaves, and the biological action of microwaves, particularly the biological sterilization effect of microwaves. Microwaves affect the electron and ion density around the bacterial cell membrane by manipulating the distribution of electrons on the bacterial membrane cross-section, thereby altering the cell membrane's permeability and killing bacteria.
From a biochemical perspective, the nucleic acids (RNA) and deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) that bacteria normally grow and reproduce are coiled macromolecules tightly linked by numerous hydrogen bonds. Microwaves can cause these hydrogen bonds to loosen, break, and recombine, thus inducing genetic or chromosomal aberrations or breaks. Microwave sterilization utilizes both electromagnetic field effects and biological effects to kill microorganisms.
This equipment adopts a fully automatic PLC electrical control system, with an automatic start-up mode (in which the microwave sterilization and disinfection integrated machine runs automatically with one button) and a manual mode (in which the exhaust filtration equipment, water purifier, steam generator, rapid pulverizing system, and microwave generator can be started and stopped separately). The control system is equipped with a touch screen display, which can control the start and stop of the entire equipment modules and display the equipment's operating status in real time.
The PLC control system automatically controls the sterilization temperature and sterilization time, and monitors the entire sterilization process in real time. The sterilization process and treatment effect of medical waste meet the relevant WHO standards and the requirements of the "Technical Specification for Centralized Microwave Disinfection and Treatment Engineering of Medical Waste (Trial)" (HJ/T229-2021), making it an ideal equipment for microwave sterilization and disinfection of medical waste.
