3. working principle
By using excavators or manual methods, materials are poured into a hopper. The high-pressure water pump will wash away the surrounding soil and then feed the mixed minerals forward into the drum screen. Depending on the sieve holes of the drum screen, materials of different particle sizes will enter different agitation chutes, while larger materials will roll towards the final outlet of the drum at the actual location.
Afterwards, fine-grained minerals and water are stirred through the chute.
Useless minerals are washed away, gold is harvested with sticky gold blankets, and finally screened through manual labor, shaking tables, centrifuges, and other methods |
Plusting Sluice Box:
After the slurry enters the inclined (3 °~5 °) chute, the motor drives the eccentric agitation mechanism through the reducer, which will make the agitation chute oscillate back and forth, flowing downwards along the bed surface under the action of gravity and water flow thrust. The gold/diamond head particles in the slurry produce different settling velocities due to density differences:
Gold particles and diamonds have a high density, settle quickly, and are less affected by water flow erosion;
Light minerals (such as sediment and quartz) have low density and slow settling, and will be directly washed away by water flow
