The bucket screen is installed between the drum screen and the hopper to cut gold/diamond ore encased in yellow mud/clay.
The drum screen is typically designed with dual-layer screens, allowing replacement of screens with different apertures based on ore particle size. The inner screen has larger apertures, while the outer screen has smaller apertures.

Gold and diamonds flow in with the mud. As the equipment agitates, the lighter sand and silt are washed away by water. Gold and diamonds, being heavier, remain at the bottom of the equipment.
After screening through the Plusting sluice box, most of the gold is retained, while the remaining small amount of gold ore flows onto the fixed chute bed.
